ONE WOMAN can make a difference!

Our 3rd Annual One Woman Conference was outstanding! Thank you to our speakers, generous sponsors, volunteers and women who attended this year. Be sure to read Tara’s review of the event HERE.

Hi Tara, I wanted to thank you and the KGM team for such a wonderful One Woman Conference on Saturday.  It was a great experience and the speakers were terrific!  I can’t say enough good things about them.  Each speaker was unique and had something special and meaningful to share.  I couldn’t help but think, “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.”  I appreciate all the hard work, long hours, and countless details that were tended to in order to make it such an enjoyable event.  It was my first time attending and I was excited to hear you say that you were already scheduling next year. (I’m sure that sounds a bit daunting for you now if you haven’t even had a chance to rest and relax after this one.)
The One Woman event was a true blessing to me.  May God bless you and all those who played a part in offering such a Spirit-filled event.

Many thanks! Vicki

“I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last.”
JOHN 15:16

ONE WOMAN is more than a Conference…

It’s a movement of women choosing to live God’s Word in their spheres of influence.

Jesus chose us to bear fruit that lasts.   Fruit bearing does not necessarily mean a big promotion, a large following on social media, a hefty bank account or worldly accolades.  Fruitfulness is success in God’s eyes.  He does not want us wasting energy on what may seem important today only to later find those things lack eternal value.

God purposes each of us to know Him personally and fulfill our callings. He is looking for ONE WOMAN who:

  • Desires to make an impact in her corner of the world.
  • Understands her God-given identity is the core of her influence.
  • Walks confidently in the truth.
  • Believes in the power of prayer.
  • Possesses a deep, inner conviction that she was meant for something greater than herself.
  • Realizes the importance of being surrounded by like-minded women to accomplish her purpose and potential…

Bearing fruit will look different during each decade of our lives. Yet one thing will always remain consistent – there will always be people in our spheres of influence who desperately need to hear the gospel, that they are loved, that they have value, and that God has a purpose for their lives.

ONE WOMAN living for Christ in her generation is powerful and fruitful.

The Story of ONE WOMAN

In 2003, living in a broken marriage, I, (Tara) decided to live beyond cultural Christianity.  I turned to the age-old truths about marriage found in God’s Word.  Day after day, I read, internalized, and lived what I understood God’s Word to say.

Slowly, my marriage started changing.  It became whole.  Not only that, but God also answered a desire of my heart when my husband told me he wanted to go to Bible study.  For years, I had nagged him to go – to no avail.  But something was different this time.  He was now open to the things that were important to me because I had learned through the study and application of God’s Word to be attentive to the things that were important to him.

Becoming ONE WOMAN is a paradigm shift in our belief system and ultimately in our behavior.  It’s seeking first the kingdom of God and allowing Him to show us what’s important from His perspective.  God’s Word helps us understand what and who our priorities should be.  And that true success in God’s eyes is bearing eternal fruit where He’s placed us.

My husband ended up going to Bible study and ultimately came to saving faith in Jesus.  My children were impacted by the application of God’s Word in our home and chose Jesus as Savior of their lives.

Unable to contain the joy of what God was doing in my life, I shared my passion for the effectiveness of God’s Word with anyone who would listen.  As a result, extended family and friends began responding.  Aunts and Uncles were drawn to live beyond Sunday morning Christianity.  They began learning and applying God’s Word to their own lives, and witnessed the fruit of their adult children coming to saving faith.

The ripple effect of ONE WOMAN is powerful.  She can wield significant, fruitful influence in her corner of the world.
