Jodie Berndt is a speaker, Bible teacher, and the author of more than a dozen books, including the bestselling Praying the Scriptures series that includes volumes to help you pray powerfully for your Children, Teens, and Adult Children, as well as for your Marriage, and your Life. Jodie also hosts “Mom Life Unscripted with Jodie & Friends,” a program featured on Focus on the Family’s flagship YouTube channel. College sweethearts, Jodie and her husband Robbie have been married for 40 years. They have four married children and they will welcome their eighth grandchild in April 2026. They live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Tara Furman is the founder and president of Knowing God Ministries (KGM). A leader and speaker, Tara inspires women to know God personally and make a difference in their corners of the world, starting with those closest to them. Her heart is to teach biblically based, real life applications of God’s principles that women can live out in their families, businesses, and everyday lives. Simply stated, Tara is a role model for many – a no-nonsense gal whose Jesus-light shines brightly.

Since founding KGM in 2007, Tara has been speaking to women of all ages and denominations throughout the country. She equips women through her blog, YouTube channel, speaking events and retreats, books, and Bible studies, often drawing upon her own experiences and sharing with an authentic, down-to-earth attitude that genuinely connects with her audience.

Tara grew up in Cary, NC, and married her high school sweetheart, Tim, in 1995. They continue to live in Cary and are recently empty nesters.
